spectacular coastline and beautiful countryside, whether you are here for a short break of one or two nights or a full week you will find plenty of things to see and do. We have unspoilt beaches stretching from Amble to Berwick Upon Tweed such as Alnmouth, Boulmer, Low Newton, Beadnell, Bamburgh and Lindisfarne.

If you enjoy castles we have plenty of these such as Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland, Bamburgh Castle home to the Armstrong family. The spectacular Dunstanburgh Castle which stands on the cliff tops between Craster (home to the world famous kipper) and Embleton, Chillingham Castle famous for being the most haunted castle in Britain. Lindisfarne Castle On Holy Island and of course our very own Warkworth Castle.

We have numerous houses and gardens looked after by the National Trust such as Cragside, the first house in the world to be lit by electricity. Wallington Hall at Cambo, Howick Hall gardens rated by the BBC Gardeners World magazine as one of the top 5 coastal gardens in the country and not forgetting the much acclaimed Alnwick Garden.
